I'm with you Chris. Such a shame about Tomkins, as we had the real moral high-ground after Barkley's dive. I say, I'm with you, but only in that all the fake bollocks is a nightmare. Don't get me wrong, and make no mistake, all that amateur and local bollocks is just poor quality nonsense. Far, far more embarrassing than a shitty dive or a fake injury.

I think that's me done with professional sports. What with Barkley and Tomkins' theatricals in the game earlier and this farcical card, I'm completely disillusioned with it all.
I can pay a fifth of the price to see my local team/boxers and know that they're doing it because they love the sport rather than to generate millions for Sky et al.
I may have had a drink, so reserve the right to change my mind, but in all honesty, I really hope I don't.

There's still plenty of good boxing out there, it's just that tonight was always a match between two average fighters. Perhaps you couldn't predict it being as bad as it was but it was never likely to set the world alight.
